Latoya Boddy, M.Ac., L.Ac., ADS
Latoya is a graduate of the Maryland University of Integrative Health, located in Laurel, Maryland, where she earned her Master of Acupuncture Degree and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Acupuncture degree. Through personal experiences receiving acupuncture, Latoya learned that Chinese Medicine transformed her wellness perspective and helped her cultivate a more connected relationship between body, mind, and spirit. Latoya is a Licensed Acupuncturist by the State of Maryland Board of Acupuncture; certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA); a member of the Maryland Acupuncture Society; and is a certified Aromatherapist.
Dr. Denise Tyson, M.BA, D.OM., L.Ac., ADS
Dr. Tyson is a graduate of Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH), formerly Tai
Sophia Institute, located in Laurel, Maryland where she earned her Master of Acupuncture
Degree in 2011, Master of Oriental Medicine Degree in 2013 and earned her Doctor of Oriental
Medicine degree in 2016. Before graduating from MUIH, Dr. Tyson earned her Master of
Business Administration in Health Services Administration at Howard University located in
Washington, DC and her Bachelor of Science in Biology at American University located in
Washington, DC.
Dr. Tyson is a licensed Acupuncturist by the State of Maryland Board of Acupuncture; Chinese
Herbal Medicine; certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist by the National Acupuncture
Detoxification Association (NADA); certified in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers by
the American Heart Association; and Registered Reiki Professional by the International
Association of Reiki Professionals. She is also a member of the Maryland Acupuncture Society.
Before becoming an owner of Advanced Integrative Health Group, Dr. Tyson practiced in
Columbia, MD.
Dr. Cindy Tran, D.Ac, L.Ac.
Dr. Tran is a graduate of Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH), formerly Tai Sophia
Institute located in Laurel, MD where she earned her Master of Acupuncture Degree in 2013
and her Doctor of Acupuncture degree in 2016. Before graduating from MUIH, Dr. Tran earned
her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at the University of Maryland located in Baltimore
County, Baltimore, MD.
Dr. Tran is a licensed Acupuncturist by the State of Maryland Board of Acupuncture; certified
Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association
(NADA); and certified in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart
Association. She is also a member of the Maryland Acupuncture Society.
Before becoming an owner of Advanced Integrative Health Group, Dr. Tran practiced with Easy
Balance Wellness and Spa located in Gaithersburg, MD; Center for Holistic Wellness located in
Ellicott City, MD; Thrive Group Fitness and Wellness Studio located in Westminster, MD; and
Block Chiropractic Center located in Burtonsville, MD.
Dr. Teresa McFarland, D.Ac., L.Ac., Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM)
Teresa McFarland left corporate marketing to become an acupuncturist. She understands how
dedication to career goals can inadvertently cause health problems like chronic pain or illness,
anxiety/depression, digestive issues, substance abuse, fatigue, disturbed sleep, and eating
disorders.
Teresa provides a positive, non-judgemental treatment space so that her patients feel safe,
heard, and respected. Their health goals are taken seriously and treatments plans are mutually
agreed upon.

Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association

Amanda E. Robinson, MSHP, CHES
Amanda holds a Master of Science in Health Promotion from the Maryland University of
Integrative Health and is a Certified Health Education Specialist. In addition, she has certificates
in Wellness Coaching, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and is a Certified Grief Loss
Specialist.
Dr. Madea E. Allen, D.OM., L.Ac., CHHC
Madea believes that health is a dynamic composite of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual
well-being. She provides a compassionate healing presence and deep listening as she partners
with patients to help them be and feel their best.
Madea brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice of Chinese Medicine, including
certifications and experience as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, holistic chef, Reiki
practitioner, Soul Integration Facilitator, Kundalini Yoga Instructor and aromatherapist, which
she integrates seamlessly in her patient interactions.
Madea is a licensed Acupuncturist by the State of Maryland Board of Acupuncture, certified
Acupuncture Detox Specialist by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA)
and a member of the Maryland Acupuncture Society.

Specialty: Modalities Deep tissue, Sports, Swedish, Warm Stone, Prenatal and
certified in Reiki 1 and 2.
My Goal is to help clients achieve maximum mobility and relaxation.
Educating clients about the benefits of massage and making it clear that
massage is a Mind Body Spirit connection. Providing a feeling of wellbeing
while helping to reduce heart rates and increase quality sleep.
Working in Maryland and the District of Columbia enables me to provide exceptional
professional massage services to clients who were in physical therapy,
massage clinics and Office spaces such as Google, also highly requested at the
Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown.
With 10 years of experience I plan to continue to excel at my profession and to
provide my clients with the services that is expected of a professional.

Catherine Belleza, M.Ac., L.Ac.
Coming from a multigenerational family tradition in the healthcare field, Catherine provides attentive, patient-centered care at the crossroads of western and eastern medicine. She earned her Master of Acupuncture with a Specialization in Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College. Catherine is a licensed Acupuncturist by the State of Maryland Board of Acupuncture; certified Acupuncturist Detoxification Specialist by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA); and a member of the Maryland Acupuncture Society.
